UNIBEN gives sponsorships to needy but studious pupils

On 25th June, 2016, Nghe An Children Sponsoring Fund cooperated with UNIBEN Company and some other organizations held sponsorship awarding ceremony for needy children with the presence of Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue – Member of the Politburo, Deputy Prime Minister and representatives of central and competent agencies in Nghe An province. 

As to Mr. Nguyen Huu Minh, Manager of Nghe An Children Sponsoring Fund, in Nghe An, there are now over 21,000 needy children and over 115,000 very likely to fall into special circumstances and thousands of children expecting for surgery financial aid and hundreds of thousands of pupils in need of support for school fee. For the past 5 years, with contributions of sponsors across 3 Regions, Nghe An Children Sponsoring Fund have been receiving and effectively using over VND45 billion, in which Mr. Dang Khac Vy, who was born in Nghi Truong, Nghi Loc, Nghe An, has been frequently sponsoring over VND4.5 billion to support surgery cost for 284 children with congenital heart disease. Besides, the Fund also supported over 30,000 examination and treatment patients, over 2,500 surgery cases and helped more than 3,000 needy and autism children; built a kindergarten and two clean water facilities; the Fund also offered over 2,000 sponsorships, over 500 bicycles, over 1,000 wheelchairs, over 1,100 lifebuoy-school bags and over 700,000 nutrition gifts.

Representatives highly appreciated activities of Nghe An Children Sponsoring Fund as well as effective and continuous contributions of sponsoring activities for years, in which there was “3 Mien joining hands for future generation” program in 2016 in Nghe An.

 

“3 Mien joining hands for future generation” program undertakes to sponsor VND3 billion for needy but studious pupils in Nghe An in 2016, including surgery cost for children with congenital heart disease, Sponsorship, school supplies and bicycles for needy but studious children (VND1 billion); Products help improve pupils’ meals in ethnic boarding schools and others (VND1 billion).
